Datapoint 2200

Hello!

Interesting project to recreate a Datapoint 2200 v1. I have been working quite a lot with a real Datapoint 2200 v2 for the last two years. Just recently I got it to the level that it is actually working quite well. There are some known issues and probably several issues yet to be found.

The first program I ran on the machine was the processor diagnostic. It is called tstpro1.1.tap and can be found here: bitsavers

Maybe you already know of it already?

It tests all instructions and then print out TEST COMPLETED on the screen. I had good use of this one to track down a failing 7400 on the processor board.

Hi Mattis,
I actually found your VCFED thread recently and I've been meaning to say hello over there. You're progress with the machine looks fantastic, and it's the first time I've seen a restored machine up and running. I'll say more over in the forum so it's more useful for others.
