• Task 2: Retaining and updating web API’s

  Spatial CIMIS provides several web API’s for querying ETo data for any latitude-longitude and zipcode in California. This API is proxied by the public interface at et.water.ca.gov. The new GOES satellite provides a higher resolution data product that is different from the current system. Moving forward, DWR requires uninterrupted support for the existing interface. This includes access to the historical record and the new data. DWR also requires access to new higher resolution data. These requirements indicate that the new server will need to support two databases and associated APIs;
