Alchemy recipes with blank spaces don't work with Extra Utilities 2

I'm using version 1.25.6 and I tested this with all versions of Extra Utilities 2 on Curseforge (1.6.4-1.9.9).
I tried Mixin Booter version 10.6 and 10.7.
Forge version 14.23.5.2860 (if that matters).

I disabled Golden Lasso in Extra Utilities 2 config, and when I tried to make Isolated Materia, the tablet didn't start crafting.
I had made sure that I put at least 24 Ash Piles with Iron Aspectus and shot the tablet with the Beam Cannon.

I also tried every other alchemy recipe to see which ones fail.
Only those with empty spaces didn't work.

Than I enabled Golden Lasso from the config and they all worked as normal.

I also tried using Craft Tweaker 2 to add alchemy recipes to see if I could fix it that way, but it didn't work regardless of Extra Utilities 2 config despite showing up in JEI.

I also switched from this mod to Embers Rekindled and saw that the Isolated Materia recipe worked fine in that.
(which is why I decided to write this despite it likely being something wrong with Extra Utilities 2.)
