Books Cannot Be Opened in Minecraft

Currently, most books in Minecraft cannot be opened. When trying to interact with a book whether it's a regular book, a book and quill, or a written book the game does not display any content. In many cases, nothing happens at all. This issue affects both Creative and Survival mode.
