Compatibility of ecFACTORY with GECKO 3.0-based ecModels

If I build an ecModel directly with GECKO 3.0, will it be fully compatible with ecFACTORY workflows?
Or is ecFACTORY currently designed to work only with models generated using GECKO 2.0?
