XCB error #554
Description
At least under some Xubuntu versions, we might get the following error:
qt.qpa.plugin: Could not load the Qt platform plugin "xcb" in "" even though it was found.
There are distribution-specific solutions to mitigate this (https://stackoverflow.com/questions/68036484/qt-qpa-plugin-could-not-load-the-qt-platform-plugin-xcb-in-even-though-it) which are out of scope for our project, but we should document them
