WebSocket/WebRTC disconnects when the file picker is opened

Describe the bug

When I select a device to open the file picker, if I wait about 10 seconds before committing files selection, it fails to send them because the WebSocket/WebRTC connection to the device has been lost.

Steps to reproduce the bug

1. Select a device to open the file picker
2. Wait 15 seconds
3. Select a file
4. The file is not sent and WebSocket/WebRTC reconnects
