restore creates new numerical workspaces instead of using workspace tags

I have number of workspaces like: "1:www". "2:code" etc. When I restore session, windows are sent into new numerical workspaces (like "1", "2" etc) instead of using defined (mentioned) workspaces :-(
Can you/I do sth to fix it?

I might fork this later since it seems abandoned. I'll try to fix these issues as I have workspaces like that that correspond to the apps in the workspace such as "Notes" for Boostnote and Mail for Thunderbird.
