Improve rasterization to xarray #31
Description
The xr-part of this package is currently just a simple wrapper to make_geocube. There certainly is room for improvement and any comments, opinions and contributions on this topic are more than welcome!
A good starting point for improvement is @MarkusZehner's contribution in the connect_by_mapping branch.
