API_QUERY_LOG_SHOW=blockedonly not working since version 6

• FTL: 6.0

• OS and version: Debian 12.9

• Platform: Raspbery Pi

Since the Update to Version 6.0 and now 6.0.1 the API_QUERY_LOG_SHOW=blockedonly is not working anymore. In version 5 i've entered this in the setupVars.conf and i've seen only the blocked entrys in the query log. but now the entry is gone in the pihole.toml. If i put this again in the pihole.toml, that has no effect and i see all entrys every time.

This is expected as the config file uses a totally different format and options.

You are right, the option API_QUERY_LOG_SHOW=blockedonly was removed for a much more powerful exclusion system for domains and clients. But I see where you're coming from and we can discuss if we should re-add the (easier) option.

I would really appreciate it if there were an easier way again to display only blocked entries in the query log and have that setting saved.
