Constant fps drop, may be related to a known issue regarding standard controllers

Pretty self explanatory, I have constant fps drops when playing on Slippi, even offline in training mode. I think it is related to the issue where Dolphin would drop fps when playing with a standard controller. Is the issue being worked on and are we close to the next release hopefully fixing this bug?
