What a month it was!

We had a great month with new releases and features. Our community keeps growing and issues (especially from agent repos) help us to improve Sidekick & its agents. We still have a lot to improve and your feedback & contributions will help us grow!

• Sidekick is now Open-Source! We had a great release and made it into Github trends multiple times! Thank you all for your support. Recently Sidekick agents have gone open-source too.

• Sidekick Node.js agent has new superpowers!

  1. Error collection: With the latest update, our agent can now collect stacks whenever an error occurs, with no need for a tracepoint.
  2. All Sidekick agents have the ability to aggregate collected data with Thundra APM trace id. With the latest update Node agent now supports open telemetry in addition to Thundra APM.
  3. We have improved our data redaction feature by enabling developers to define their own redaction functions.
  4. With our Rest API & Sidekick Node client, we are enabling developers to control Sidekick agents programmatically. Soon we will release our Python client too.
