Why is Concentration being passed around in update_species and update_reactions?

A CRN, in my mind, is a set of species and reactions that can have any concentration. Therefore, the concentration variable should only be updated in order to simulate the CRN, or am I missing something?

The reason this is passed as an argument to update_species is so that you can set up the initial concentrations of DNA and other species when you create the model. You could, I supposed, create a separate member function called update_initial_condition or something like that?

I don't believe that the concentration is passed as an argument to update_reactions (it shouldn't be).
