My name is Jeremy, I am a full stack software engineer. I am currently working with **Typescript, Node, React, Redux, Docker, AWS, Jest, Jenkins, Storybook, GraphQL, CircleCI** and many other things. I am learning patterns, architecture, intpreting user requirements and breaking larger problems down into manageable size pieces.

Prior to working in software I had careers in financial advice and property, I chose to career change and write code for a living as I was tired of filling in monotonous paperwork. I love automating tasks, process improvement, building things, refactoring, writing tests, checking edge cases and making things better on a daily basis. I am an advocate for keeping a tidy codebase and the importance of naming. Not having to commute (or doing so infrequently) is a huge benefit of the career and provides a better balance to life for me to spend more time with my family.

I enjoy sharing knowledge as it may help someone else with their learning journey and reinforces my knowledge, i have a huge second brain in Notion where i keep notes and useful links that i may need someday.
