Goal is to make a typing test/game in the shell. It will be OS agnostic.
Working On:
-The actual code
-Git work triggers
-Winget packager
-Homebrew packager
-Snap/Flatpak/Apt package
-Performance charting companion application, for now you can just plot it in Excel or equivalent spreadsheet program.
It depends I suppose.
You can just download the .exe available in releases and place it in your powershell folder.
There is also an executable but i'm not sure if it works the same for terminal.
Again, there is an executable, so you should be able to just drag it into your applications folder.
If you work somewhere with monitoring, but you having powershell pulled up isn't considered abnormal behavior (like in IT), then this is just a fun little time kill I guess.
So real answer is boredom I suppose.
But also I feel awkward having monkeytype open at work and as described above it isn't weird if I have a terminal up AND while I can't download Go or run unsigned .exe's I can download packages from winget (which is why it's OS agnostic).
