TNC Mobile - v1.0.0

We are excited to announce the first release of the TNC (The Nerds Community) mobile application! This release brings the core functionality of our web platform directly to your mobile (IOS or Android) devices, enabling real-time collaboration on the go.

  • Authentication: Secure Login and Sign Up with JWT authentication.
  • Real-time Chat: Instant messaging powered by Socket.io with zero latency.
  • Domain Rooms: Access to 7 specialized tech rooms (Blockchain, AI/ML, Frontend, etc.).
  • Push Notifications: Get alerted instantly when messages arrive, even when the app is in the background.
  • Member List: View active members and their online status in real-time.
  • Dark Mode: A sleek, developer-focused UI consistent with our web platform.

  • Backend: Node.js, Express, MongoDB (AWS Deployed)

📥 Installation Instructions

  • Download the tnc-mobile-v1.0.0.apk file attached below.
  • Open the file on your Android device.
  • If prompted, allow installation from "Unknown Sources" (this is required as the app is in Beta and not yet on the Play Store).
  • Log in with your existing TNC account or create a new one.
