Enemies

Shuffle Overworld Enemies

Shuffles which enemies appear in each non-palace encounter. Enemies can still only appear on the continents they normally appear on.

Shuffle Palace Enemies

Shuffles which enemies appear in each palace room. Enemies can still only appear within the palace group they normally appear in (1/2/5, 3/4/6, and GP)

Shuffle Dripper Enemy

Shuffles which enemy can spwan from drippers in palaces. The dripped enemy always has the HP of a bot.

Mix Large and Small Enemies

Normally, when shuffling enemies small enemies are replaced by small and large enemies are replaced by large. With this flag, any small or large enemy can be replaced with any large or small enemy. Flying enemies are still only replaced with other flying enemies.

Generators Always Match

When rooms have infinitely spawning enemies this flag ensures the spawner on the left and right side of the room are always the same.

Randomize Knockback

Greatly changes knockback in unpredictable ways. This is not limited to knockback from taking damage. Play at your own risk.

Shuffle Enemy HP

If selected, each enemy type will have between 50% and 150% of its vanilla HP value.

Shuffle Which Enemies Steal EXP

Randomly reassigns which enemies steal EXP. The number of enemies that steal EXP in each group is the same as the number in that group that steal EXP in vanilla.

Shuffle Amount of EXP Stolen

If selected, the amount of EXP each stealer steals is between 50% and 150% of the vanilla amount.

Shuffle Sword Immunity

Randomly reassigns which enemies are immune to stabs. The number of enemies that are immune in each group is the same as the number in that group that are immune in vanilla.

Shuffle Sprite Palettes

Randomizes the colors each of the enemies are. This could cause which enemies are visible in the dark to change.

Enemy Experience Drops

Controls how much experience enemies drop. The possible experience values for an enemy are 0, 2, 3, 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, 50, 70, 100, 150, 200, 300, 500, 700, 1000.

  • Vanilla: Same as the base game
  • Low: Each enemy gives a random XP level between -3 and +1 levels of vanilla.
  • Average: Each enemy gives a random XP level between -2 and +2 levels of vanilla.
  • High: Each enemy gives a random XP level between -1 and +3 levels of vanilla.
